Apple Streusel Bars
For Apple Streusel I like to add a little lemon zest and vanilla in the apple filling. It really kicks up the flavor! I also toss the apple slices in confectioner’s sugar (which melts away almost immediately) and some homemade breadcrumbs instead of flour. These additions really give the filling a nice punch and a great texture,
